"He's a poet, he's a picker. He's a prophet, he's a pusher. He's a pilgrim and a preacher, and a problem when he's stoned. He's a walkin' contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, takin' ev'ry wrong direction on his lonely way back home." --Kris Kristofferson, The Pilgrim

I think Cheney waited to report to authorities because he was hunting drunk, and that would've brought charges. Since I live near Cheney's house and drive by it several timnes a week, I am in fear for my safety. To quote DC police chief Charles Ramsey, "It just goes to show you can get shot anywhere in this city." Save me, Jebus!
I suggest wearing a blaze orange jacket and hat, and standing outside his house with a big sign that says "Please don't shoot me." You would, of course, get shot. But not by DIck Cheney!
